WHO ARE WE?
We are a small family owned company situated in Centurion South Africa. Centurion is situated approximately 15 km or 10 minutes drive from the centre of Pretoria or 30 km and yes sometimes 90 minutes drive from the centre of Johannesburg.
The business is run by myself Gawie Maritz on the operations side and my wife Tessa on the administration side assisted by a loyal staff.
HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?
Until 1995 I was in the corporate world as a Company Secretary. Due to the massive changes in South Africa at that time the company was sold to a over seas company and we as management was retrenched. Where to from there, big dreams, a white South African male in his late 40s. I had a severance package which I thought would last a lifetime. Unfortunately the skills in the corporate world did not teach us the survival skills of entrepreneurship After a few failures along the way out of necessity GMTM was born in 2002.
We started off by doing vehicle licence renewals and has grown over time. .
