Afghanistan Police Clearance.
If you live in Afghanistan: Apply at the nearest office of the Ministry of the Interior by sending a letter of explanation indicating why you are requesting a police certificate. There is no specific form to be completed. The Ministry of the Interior will issue you the police clearance document. Please contact the nearest office of the Ministry of the Interior for further assistance if required.
If you live in Pakistan: Apply at the nearest Afghan Embassy or Consulate by sending a letter of explanation indicating why you need a police clearance certificate. There is no specific form to be completed. Once your request is processed, you will be issued a clearance letter from the Afghan Embassy or Consulate which should be submitted to the Canadian visa office in Islamabad.
If you live outside Afghanistan (except Pakistan): You will need to apply to the nearest Afghan Embassy or Consulate and write a letter requesting a police clearance certificate. There is no specific form to be completed. You will be issued a letter from the Afghan Embassy or Consulate, which should be submitted to the Canadian office processing your application.
Bahrain Police Clearance.
If you live in Bahrain:You must apply in person and provide:a letter from the Embassy of Canada requesting the Good Conduct Certificate for the purposes of immigrating to ???.a completed Good Conduct Certificate application form (PS/CID/30); Forms are available from the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) a copy of the first four pages of your passport a copy of all previous Bahraini resident permits, a full set of fingerprints obtained from the local police authority, 3 matte photographs with either white or blue background and, applicable fees.

If you live outside Barhain: You can either:return to Bahrain to apply for the police certificate in person OR
apply for the Good Conduct Certificate at the nearest Embassy of Bahrain and provide the following.
The required documents are: a copy of the passport that you used in Bahrain, a copy of your old or expired resident visa for Bahrain, a copy of your current passport (if applying at a Bahrain embassy or consulate)
a copy of your current valid residence permit (if applying at a Bahrain embassy or consulate), 3 matte photographs with a blue background and applicable fees. You will be given a form to take to the police department for fingerprints.
Iran Police Clearance.
Local Requests: Iranian nationals should present their original Iranian identification or birth certificate (Shenasnameh) bearing a photo of the holder with a copy of all the pages, two photographs (3x4 cm) taken according to Islamic dress code (Hijab), the fee deposited to account no. 94007 at Bank Melli, and a copy of the first page of their Iranian passport if available (otherwise, a letter of introduction from the embassy is required). Applicants can apply at one of the following seven branches of the Penal Records Office in Tehran:

Non-Iranians resident in Iran and people living in Iran as refugees can request police certificates through the Alien Bureau at the Ministry of Interior. These applicants need to present their Iranian residency card.
Non-Resident Requests: Applicants may apply at the nearest Iranian embassy.
Iraq Police Clearance.
Local Requests: Applicants should present their identification card or passport in person at any Criminal Investigation Department in Iraq. Fingerprints will be taken.
Non-Resident Requests: Applicants should apply for a police certificate at the consular section of the nearest Iraqi embassy.
Israel Police Clearance.
Local Requests: Applicants should apply for an Israeli police certificate at the nearest police station. Applicants must complete an application form and provide three passport-size photographs, their identity card or passport, as well as the immigration file number.
Applicants residing in Jerusalem (East or West) or in the Golan Heights should apply for an Israeli police certificate.
Applicants residing in the Gaza Strip or in the West Bank should apply for a Palestinian police certificate.
Non-Resident Requests: Applicants may apply for a police certificate at the nearest Israeli embassy or consulate. Police certificates may be sent to either the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv or to the Israeli Embassy or consulate abroad.
Jordan Police Clearance. Non-Conviction Certificate
Local Requests: Certificates can be obtained at the Court of Justice, Ministry of Justice. Applicants should obtain in person an application form (3 copies) and an appeal letter from the public service desk. The completed forms should be presented to the registry along with a Civil Status Identity Card (Jordanians) or a passport (non-Jordanians). The registry will return a copy to the applicant, who must bring it to the Criminal Investigation desk in the same building and have fingerprints taken. Kuwait Police Clearance.
If you live in Kuwait: You must apply in person and provide: a request from the Canadian Embassy;two photographs;a copy of your passport; and a copy of your resident visa in Kuwait. Note: No fees are required.

Lebanon Police Clearance.
If you live in Lebanon : All residents of Lebanon, whether Lebanese or non-Lebanese (including refugees recognized by the UNHCR), may obtain a police certificate. Police certificates are issued by the Judicial Department of the Interior Security Forces for a fee. You should provide: your name; your date of birth; your place of birth; your parents’ names; your registry number; your current address; and a copy of the Civil Extract or the identification card for Lebanese, or the “permis de séjour” for non-Lebanese.

If you live outside Lebanon: Lebanese citizens with no criminal record in Lebanon and living abroad may obtain a police certificate at their nearest Lebanese embassy or consulate.
Oman Police Clearance.

If you are applying in person or you assign a representative to apply on your behalf, you will need to provide the following documents: a copy of your passport, including the pages containing previous residence stamps for the period you stayed in Oman (in the case of a new passport, a copy of the pages that contain the bio-data information, and the issue and expiry dates); two photographs (4x4) with a blue background; and payment of the RO 3.000 fee. Palestinian Authority Police Clearance.
Applicants should apply for a Palestinian police certificate at the office of the Ministry of Interior located in their district of residence. They must provide a copy of their identification card and two passport photographs, and pay the applicable fees.
Qatar Police Clearance.
If you live in Qatar: You must apply in person and provide: two photographs (4x6 cm), A copy of all the passports used in Qatar with the dates of entry and departure clearly shown, a copy of your current passport, a copy of your residence permit, 12 Qatari Riyal (fees are subject to change)

Saudi Arabia Police Clearance.
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.If you need a police certificate, your immigration processing office will give you a request letter. If you have any questions about this, please contact your immigration processing office.If your application is being processed at the Canadian High Commission in London, you are not required to obtain a police certificate until the London visa office sends you a police certificate request letter with instructions on how to apply.

The police certificate request letter will be sent to you by mail. You must present this letter, along with valid identification and proof of legal residency in Saudi Arabia to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If they approve you, you must then apply for the police certificate in person at the relevant police headquarters.
Syria Police Clearance.
Turkmenistan Police Clearance.
Applicants should contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ashgabat for information. Only people currently residing in Turkmenistan may apply for police certificates.
Syria police clearance:
If you live in Syria: If you are a Syrian resident, you should present your identification card or resident permit and pay the applicable fees (55 Syrian pounds) to the Ministry of the Interior, Interior Services Forces, Directorate of Criminal Security Department, Criminal Records Branch, Judicial Records Division.
If you are a non-Syrian resident, you should apply with proof of civil status to the Minister of Interior, Internal Security Forces, Criminal Security Administration. You must apply in the Syrian city in which you permanently reside.
If you live outside Syria: You may apply through Syrian embassies abroad.Please note that the fees are subject to change.
United Arab Emirates Police Clearance.
You should apply for a Good Conduct Certificate at the police department of the emirate in which you are or were residents.
Abu Dhabi: If you live in Abu Dhabi You must apply in person and present: the original of your passport, as well a copy: a copy of your resident visa; three photographs; and the applicable fees. Yemen Police Clearance.
If you live in Yemen: You must apply in person and provide: a request from the relevant embassy ; 2 photographs with a white background; a copy of your valid passport; a copy of your resident visa for Yemen; and a fee payment of 50 Yemeni Riyals (fees are subject to change).
